The Community Care Access Centre in Downtown Brantford WAS a Benefit

The Community Care Access Centre, operated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, was located at the corner of Colborne and Clarence Sts. in downtown Brantford, Ontario.  An excellent central location.

The CCAC left this downtown location recently and moved to the corner of Wayne Gretzky Parkway and Henry St.

This move added to the list of unused and underused buildings in downtown Brantford.

Was the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care aware that Brantford wants to reduce the number of empty buildings downtown, not increase it?

When Brantford City Hall learned of the planned move of the Community Care Access Centre did they contact the Ministry of Health to discuss the advantages of staying in downtown Brantford?
