Is Brantford’s city council starting to see the light?
One way for cities to have more monies for infrastructure improvements is to better manage current revenues. The result: responsible use of taxpayers’ dollars.
How? Focus on essential spending. Not on, as Mr. Morris states, “frivolous consultancies (and studies), coordinators, and extravagant capital projects that are not needed.” A perfect example of an unneeded, extravagant capital project is the proposed Laurier Brantford YMCA.
