It is encouraging when a taxpayer is able to cut through nonsense and succinctly tell it like it is. Mr. David Hugman does that here regarding proposed boundary adjustments in Brantford and Brant County.
The interests of a municipality come before that of real-estate developers and industry in general. (Unfortunately, in Ontario, the Ontario Municipal Board impedes this right.)
Moreover, it is irresponsible for Brantford, or any city, to chew up more countryside for development when derelict, abandoned or partially used properties exist within its current boundary.
