Schools don’t need A/C when they have fake grass

Well, well, some precious teachers and students (notice who comes first here) found it a bit warm in the classroom during the recent heat wave in Ontario.

Not so in the case of those who took to the multi-million dollar artificial turf sport fields (with all that super cool synthetic stuff under foot) that adorn some schools.  When you drove by you noticed them frolicking … er … “attending class” on the fake grass and in the direct sunshine during the hottest point of the day.

Hmm, must be mind over matter, which is much cheaper than schools adding and operating A/C in electricity crippled Ontario.
