Throne Speech & Acceptable Spending

Will today’s Throne Speech reveal that the Government of Canada has had an epiphany on how it should spend taxpayers’ dollars? 

Will the Throne Speech show that the government now understands that acceptable spending of taxpayers’ dollars means, for example, using existing, less costly channels to let Canadians know about essential government programs?

The opposite approach is to use exorbitant television and radio ads.  What is your favourite (or least favourite) Economic Action Plan commercial?
